: A Workshop for Clarity, Memory and Visual Journalling
There’s something brilliant about a mud map. It doesn’t have to be neat, perfectly drawn or even remotely to scale – it’s just a simple doodle that can really help you make sense of what’s in your head or what you’d like to think about or what you’d like to remember without the need for excessive words.
In this workshop, we’ll use mud maps as a creative tool to untangle thoughts, capture memories, and explore ideas in a way that’s playful, calming, and hopefully educational.
What You’ll Experience
- No pressure, just play – This isn’t about anything perfect, it is about messy, free expression that gets ideas flowing fast.
- A clearer head – Once thoughts are out of your head and onto paper, you’ll feel lighter and more spacious inside.
- Calm focus – Just the act of doodling slows you down and brings you into the moment.
- Make real – Sketching out ideas allows you to see them clearer, enabling them to be further considered, reflected upon and refined.
- A new tool for self-expression – Whether you use mud maps as a diary, a brainstorming method, or a way to sort through ideas, you’ll leave with a new tool in your toolkit that you can always return to .
